'Celebs Go Dating' have added a private cottage for celebrities to get close to their dates
'Celebs Go Dating' is introducing a private cottage for prospective lovers.
The E4 dating show has decided to add a new hideaway for the upcoming series to allow the celebrities – including Wayne Lineker, Curtis Pritchard and Chloe Ferry – to whisk their dates away for some alone time as the stars are being held in a £30 million Surrey mansion due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Getting a night in the Hideaway has been a staple of Love Island and it’s led to saucy scenes. With no show on this spring, 'Celebs Go Dating' bosses thought they’d make the most of it and have let their stars use the cottage for some private time.
"They told the cast that if they have a connection they will be granted an overnight stay, but they have to show they’re serious and not just up for some nookie."
What's more, two of the celebrities have already made use of the private cottage after making a "connection" with their dates.
The source added: "At least two of the celebs managed to get a stay and made the most of it.”
Also joining the line up are Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann, Corrie’s Kimberly Hart-Simpson, presenter Karim Zeroual, and DJ Tom Zanetti.
This year's series will see the stars cooped up in the luxury estate with their dates for four weeks to help stop the spread of the virus.
Former 'Love Island' star Curtis – whose most recent romance was with dancer Amber Pierson – said: “I’m really looking forward to learning more about myself and can’t wait to see who the agents set me up with. I have not been on many dates in my life, so I’m super-excited. Hopefully I’ll find my version of the perfect woman.”
