Lauren Goodger wants a regular role on 'Loose Women' as she believes she will be able to offer viewers a "young-ish take on life"
Lauren Goodger wants to join the 'Loose Women' panel.
The 34-year-old TV star has made numerous appearances on the ITV show but wants a regular role so she can offer viewers a "young-ish take on life" following the recent departures of Andrea McLean and Saira Khan.
Lauren told the Daily Star newspaper's Hot TV column: "I think they need it 100%.
"I am actually quite clued up on certain subjects and I have a lot to talk about. Family, relationships, mental health and body (image).
"I think they need someone young. I am not young but young-ish... and current to mix it up a bit."
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star recently revealed that she is more scared of the coronavirus vaccine than the virus itself.
Lauren claimed that she isn't going to get the jab as she doesn't feel it has been "around long enough" for experts to "know enough" about it.
She said: "I am more scared of the vaccine than I am of the virus. I will start imagining that I am dying. I am terrified. I don't like taking medicine. I don't like taking antibiotics.
"OK, I do do aesthetics and even now I am still nervous of that – I am like that in general. Even with a facial I want to know what is in it. That is my anxiety over the years."
Lauren added: "I just feel that it hasn't been around long enough and we don't know enough about it. I think I have had COVID and if I was to get ill I would treat it how I would treat it. I didn't die from it. It is like getting it a cold. I wouldn't get the flu jab either.
"I don't want to inject myself with something I don't know the long-term effects. I have heard all the different things that are in it and I think I have had COVID already and I have coped with it."
