'EastEnders' star Danny Dyer has admitted he "would have loved to have been a musician" if he hadn't become an actor
Danny Dyer would've loved to have been a musician.
The 'EastEnders' actor – who has previously admitted he was "born to be a rock star" – thinks it would've been a great job being on the music scene.
He said: "I would have loved to have been a musician back in the day. What a f****** job that is."
Danny took on Kasabian song 'Fire' in a 2017 episode of 'Lip Sync Battle UK', but the star has now admitted he prefers Oasis to the 'Club Foot' hitmakers.
Speaking on the 'Sorted with the Dyers' podcast, he added: "Oasis, they’re the original. They got us all out of rave music in the Nineties.
"Everyone was jumping around to acid house and all of a sudden we were listening to guitar music. Oasis pulled us out of that madness."
Danny took on 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge Craig Revel Horwood on 'Lip Sync Battle UK' in January 2017, and he made it clear he was confident about tasting victory.
He said: "I was born to do this – to be a rock star.
"There’s no way in the world I will lose to Craig f****** Revel Horwood. Of course he’s my enemy tonight and he always will be."
As well as performing 'Fire', Danny also channelled the late Amy Winehouse with a rendition of 'Back to Black', while Craig stepped into Britney Spears' shoes to lip sync 'Toxic' and he also had a go at Bonnie Tyler's 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart'.
Despite donning a wig and lipstick to transform into Amy, Danny didn't do enough over the two performances and Craig was crowned the champion.
