The 'Dancing on Ice' judges will be separated by Perspex dividers in the upcoming series.
The ice skating show's bosses have introduced numerous safety measures to ensure the ITV programme can go ahead after England was plunged into a third lockdown, such as separating judges Ashley Banjo, John Barrowman, Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill.
A source said: "Everyone needs a bit of glitz and glamour in their lives right now and TV shows are doing their best to stay on air and be safe.
"ITV showed they could do it with 'I’m A Celebrity' and now they’re doing it again with 'Dancing On Ice'."
The show has also done away with the public studio audience at Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire.
The source added to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "They’ve made big changes to the studio, including the judging panel and audience, and hope this, as well as their daily vigilance, will be enough to keep it on air."
A 'Dancing on Ice' spokesperson has insisted the health and safety protocols are being "routinely monitored and updated" on the show.
They told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We have stringent protocols in place to ensure the health and safety of all our contributors and staff which are routinely monitored and updated to reflect the current guidelines."
Rebekah Vardy, Billie Faiers, Lady Leshurr, Sonny Jay, Jason Donovan, Faye Brookes, Denise Van Outen, Joe-Warren Plant, Myleene Klass, Rufus Hound, Colin Jackson, and Graham Bell are all set to compete on the ice skating series, which kicks off on January 17th.
