Charlotte Ritchie has signed up for 'Taskmaster'.
The 31-year-old actress will compete in a range of perplexing and extraordinary challenges in series 11 of the comedy game show – which is fronted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne – for a chance to be crowned champion.
She will be joined by stand-up comedian Jamali Maddix, comic Lee Mack, actor Mike Wozniak, and actress Sarah Kendall, all of whom will take part in a series of tasks that test their ingenuity and stupidity.
What's more, Richard Herring is the latest star to join the 'Champion of Champions' tournament next year as he goes head-to-head with four other series winners to be the best of the best.
The special will see the winners of series six to 10 – including Liza Tarbuck, Kerry Godliman, Lou Sanders, and Ed Gamble – return for the ultimate test.
Meanwhile, John Hannah and Rylan Clark-Neal are set to appear on 'Taskmaster's New Year Treat'.
They will be joined by three other famous faces, including 'Strictly Come Dancing' head judge Shirley Ballas, Channel 4 News anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy, and 'Derry Girls' star Nicola Coughlan. The news comes as the show reached record viewers with its latest series after it moved from Dave to Channel 4.
The latest series saw 'This Country' star Daisy May Cooper and Johnny Vegas join Katherine Parkinson, Mawaan Rizwan and Richard Herring.
Daisy admitted she had an "absolute blast" filming the show and is "slightly in love" with Johnny.
She wrote on Instagram: "The rumors are true, I shall be in the next series of taskmaster! It's been an absolute blast and I may be slightly in love with Johnny vegas. (sic)"
