According to Malin Andersson, time has been "the biggest healer" of her problems
Malin Andersson thinks time has been "the biggest healer" of her problems.
The 28-year-old TV star has taken to Instagram to discuss her past heartbreaks – including the death of her four-week-old daughter Consy in January last year – and has explained how she's managed to rebuild her life after suffering tragedy.
She wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "Time has been the biggest healer for me.
"Trauma that we endure doesn’t have an easy fix. I say it each time – and each time I say it to you all – it becomes clearer to me.
"We think that we can overcome pain and struggle in an instant – but we can’t. We want things now, we want things quickly but this isn’t how life works.. in order for us to heal we must allow the process to happen; and by that I mean taking each day as it comes, allowing yourself to feel how you need to and also focusing on the present moment – not worrying about the future or past. Malin previously admitted to experiencing suicidal thoughts, and she's proud of how she's managed to bounce back from personal tragedy.
Her post continued: "As I reflect back on how far I’ve come; I tear up because I know my mum would be so proud of me. I didn’t stop or give up, I carried on despite constant pain being thrown at me..
"I remember the time I collected tablets and how I felt I had no purpose to live anymore. I wanted to give up.. I almost did.
"But now? Now I continue looking forward and not back...
