Ranvir Singh has been crying "every now and then" following her 'Strictly Come Dancing' exit, and the star plans to remain friends with her pro partner Giovanni Pernice after they "experienced something quite deep and intense" on the show
Ranvir Singh has been weeping "every now and then out of nowhere" following her 'Strictly Come Dancing' exit.
While the 43-year-old TV presenter admitted she was feeling "quite buoyant" yesterday (14.12.20), she also started crying unexpectedly several times when she thought about her and Giovanni Pernice's elimination from the competition over the weekend.
She said: "I felt quite buoyant yesterday, I made pancakes with my son, he was bouncing around and really happy to have mummy home in the morning, and then I sort of found myself weeping every now and then out of nowhere.
"It’s a strange feeling, because of course you want to finish your story, you want to complete the thing that you started.
"The thing with being eliminated this close to the final is that you were in such close proximity to being able to at least do the final big show dance and to have your moment.
"But you know, it’s been an amazing time, I expected to be quite free in December, I never expected to still be doing it."
During her time on the show, Ranvir and Giovanni were romantically linked, which they played down.
But the 'Good Morning Britain' political reporter has admitted she "adores" her pro partner, and will remain friends with him because they "experienced something quite deep and intense".
Asked if the pair will remain pals, Ranvir told her 'GMB' colleagues Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid: "I think we will stay friends. Why not?
"We have experienced something quite deep and intense actually, and that is a very special thing. So, of course we will stay friends.
"I adore him actually, he is a sweet little soul."
Piers added: "People can read into that what they will."
And Piers joked he will be taking part in the show next year alongside Giovanni.
He quipped: "Anyway he's got to get into training for the same-sex dancing, which will be going on next year with me.
"He's got to get into training to lift me, which will take a lot more training than he had to do for you [Ranvir]."
