New show Horizons: A 2021 Space Odyssey is set to take audiences on a dazzling cinematic journey, telling the story of how we came to be

Professor Brian Cox has announced he will tour with his new show Horizons: A 2021 Space Odyssey in 2021. Presale tickets for the tour are available from 10am on Wed 18 Nov ahead of the general sale sale at 10am on Fri 20 Nov.

Horizons is set to take audiences on a dazzling cinematic journey, telling the story of how we came to be and what we can become on earth. State of the art LED screens will transform UK arenas into far-away galaxies, alien worlds and transport science fans to the time of the Big Bang.

Professor Brian Cox broke two Guinness World Records with his previous sell-out world tour, and will no doubt come close this time around. The Prof. never shies from askings life's big questions and the new show will contemplate: What is the nature of space and time? Why does the Universe exist? What does it mean to live a small, finite life in a vast, eternal universe?

Cox will explore these questions and share the latest advances in our understanding of quantum theory, black holes, biology, planetary science, astronomy and cosmology with his fans.

Horizons celebrates our civilisation, its music, art, philosophy and science and provides an optimistic vision of the future. Brian is joined by co-host of The Infinite Monkey Cage and award-winning comedian Robin Ince. Ince will oversee a Q&A at each show giving an audience of 10,000 people the chance to put questions to the Professor.
