'EastEnders' actress Luisa Bradshaw-White has admitted she feels "so grateful every single day" for her daughters, who she adopted in 2015, and said adoption is a "challenging" but "immensely rewarding" experience
Luisa Bradshaw-White has opened up about the "immensely rewarding" journey she has been on after she adopted her daughters.
The 'EastEnders' actress has marked National Adoption Week by taking to Instagram to reveal she is "so grateful every single day" for her daughters, who are now 19 and 17, and while she admitted it has been a "rocky" road at times, she has been on an "incredibly beautiful" journey.
She wrote: "We have been on such a journey since, (they are now 19 and nearly 18.). Rocky at times! But I always say they were exactly what I asked for! Cheeky, kind, naughty, fun and so loving. I won’t talk about the trauma they have experienced as that is their story. But for me the journey has been so incredibly beautiful. Challenging, but so immensely rewarding. There are so many kids out there that need a loving environment a place to call home, that is safe, and nurtures them. It won’t be easy but life never is!
I couldn’t love my girls any more than I do. This is my forever family and I am so grateful every single day.
Luisa – who plays Tina Carter on the BBC One soap – shared the picture of her two girls that Social Services sent her 15 years ago.
She added: "When I saw this pic of my girls I instantly recognised them and burst into tears! I knew they were mine."
The former 'Bad Girls' star shares her daughters with wife Annette Yeo, and the actress previously admitted she had kitted them out with clothes before she knew if they were approved to look after the youngsters.
Luisa recently said: "I'd bought them clothes before we had even been approved to have them."
