Live events and masterclasses featuring well-known names are on offer

If you're looking for ways to liven up your social life and be part of something that feels larger than your living room, then SocialEyes might be the answer. It's a brand-new virtual venue which promises personalised and entertaining live experiences, hosted by well-known names.

With celebrities and experts from across the showbiz world on board, there should be something for everyone. Those already signed up include Patsy Palmer (EastEnders), Matt King (Peep Show), comedian Josie Long, musical theatre's Cassidy Janson, Sugababe and Eurovision star Jade Ewen, Bake Off favourite Ugne Bubnaityte, and Lauren Lyle (Outlander).

Conducted via Zoom, with opportunities aplenty to interact with the host, there is a wide variety of price options and three different types of tickets: Backstage (catering for groups of up to eight), Front Row (live shows capped at 50 guests) or Hang Outs (one-on-ones).

And it's not just about good times but good causes too, with each host donating a percentage of their fee to charity and SocialEyes agreeing to match that donation with a contribution to #WeMakeEvents, which raises money to support those affected by loss of work in the live sector.

Special events are also planned to ensure a 'spooktacular' Halloween, including: an exclusive make-up masterclass, featuring Glow Up finalist James Mac and a Wildcat Bramble gin kit; a Halloween dance-off with West End and Broadway choreographer Lucy Hind; a cabaret-style drag show; and a 'Trick or Tweet' quiz hosted by Jack Remmington.

Co-founder Lee Beattie, who has worked in live events for more than two decades, aims to 'turn entertainment outside-in,' going on to explain, 'We know that online entertainment cannot fully replace the magic of real life, but we need something better to put in our calendars right now.'

With meeting up in person off the cards for many, SocialEyes' events could be a novel way for friends and family across the UK to get together, or for a cheeky little chance to treat yourself.

The full SocialEyes line-up can be viewed online with new hosts and experiences being added every day.
