Zippos Circus announce socially-distanced shows to run in Blackheath, London

The Globe of Death

'I cannot tell you how pleased we are to be back on the road again'

The leading entertainment team Zippos Circus have announced a new string of socially distanced shows will run at Blackheath London from Thu 22 Oct—Sun 1 Nov. Tickets for the London dates are available at 9am on Thu 15 Oct. Tickets for the Guildford shows are on sale now.

Ringmistress Tracy Jones leads the Zippos Circus cast and crew for the brand-new show Rebound; a fitting title as the tour marks the circus' first since the pandemic forced a hiatus. The show sees the return of the Globe of Death cage (pictured), taken on by a team of high-velocity stunt motorcyclists. Circus attendees can expect Zippos' usual blend of astonishing acrobats, chuckle-inducing characters, knife-throwing, foot-juggling and much more.

Speaking of Zippo's return to live shows, Founder and Directo Martin Burton said: 'I cannot tell you how pleased we are to be back on the road again. [...] A range of new hygiene and safety measures will all help ensure that Zippos Circus will be a safe place for both our performers and families to enjoy and we look forward to welcoming everybody to our new show.'

To keep people safe, tickets for Zippo Circus are sold in bubbles and audiences sizes have been reduced to allow for social distancing. Anybody over the age of 11 will be required to wear a mask throughout the performance.
