Soap star Jacqueline Jossa has revealed she'd love to star in her own Osbourne-style reality show
Jacqueline Jossa would love to star in her own Osbourne-style reality show.
The 27-year-old actress – who is best known for playing Lauren Branning in 'EastEnders' – has revealed she'd relish the chance to appear in her own reality series, like 'The Osbournes'.
Asked about the possibility of a reality TV series, Jacqueline replied: "A camera following me around would be quite fun."
Despite her on-screen success, Jacqueline – who has Ella, five, and Mia, two, with Dan Osborne – thinks motherhood is what has given her a "purpose in life".
Asked what's the best thing about being a mum, she told OK! magazine: "There’s so many – when you get called 'Mummy', knowing you have a purpose in life … The girls have given me such purpose and they’re the reason I do everything I do.
"They’re the reason I work and I just absolutely love them. There’s just nothing better. It’s like you’re never alone any more – you have your best friends forever."
However, Jacqueline also conceded it's tough to balance the demands of motherhood with her acting career.
She said: "Being a busy working mum is super tricky. You really have to be on top of it, which I am. I’ve got an amazing group around me helping out. But to be honest, motherhood and me fit like a glove."
The soap star also thinks her role on 'EastEnders' helped to develop her work ethic.
She explained: "It’s actually really difficult, but I’m used to it because I worked very hard on 'EastEnders' and it was long hours, so I’m used to that work ethic. But you have to make time – any time I’m not working I’m with them."
