Presenting duo Ant and Dec are set to make their first BBC appearance since 1997 for Radio 2's 'My Life in a Mixtape'
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will reflect on 30 years as a television duo for BBC Radio 2.
The Geordie duo – who first met on 'Byker Grove' in 1989 – are set to host a special one-off episode of 'My Life in a Mixtape'.
Ant And Dec will choose important tracks from throughout their three decade career, while also sharing behind the scenes memories and secrets.
The programme is set to air on September 6 at 9pm, and it will also be available via the BBC Sounds app.
The beloved pair haven't appeared on the Beeb since guest hosting 'Top of the Pops' in 1997, before making the move to ITV.
A few days after the radio show, Ant and Dec – who went on to co-host the likes of 'SMTV Live', 'Britain's Got Talent', 'Saturday Night Takeaway' and 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' – will look back on their time in the industry to promote their upcoming book 'Once Upon A Tyne'.
In a post on Instagram, they wrote: "Seeing as we can't see you all face to face with a real life book tour, we thought why not have a 'virtual' natter instead?!
"Chatting and sharing stories from #OnceUponATyne and our 30 years in telly, and we'd love you to join us.
"@SantanderUK are proud sponsors of the event in aid of @PrincesTrust."
Meanwhile, there have been reports the pair will reunite with Cat Deeley for an 'SMTV Live' special to mark their 30 years in showbiz.
An insider previously said: "'SMTV' was such a huge part of Ant and Dec's career they knew they wanted to mark it in some way.
"The show will look back on some of the best moments and see old guests reminisce."
The trio presented the show – which featured competitions, sketches and challenges – from 1998 until Ant and Dec, both 44, decided to leave in 2001, and Cat departed in 2002.
