Canadian-American songstress returns with ninth album Such Pretty Forks in the Road

Alanis Morissette is back and will perform new music, as well as old hits, at venues across the UK. Tickets for the tour are available at 9am on Fri 28 Feb.

Alanis Morissette found fame back in the 90s with her third studio album Jagged Little Pill. The record, which was released in 1995, topped the charts in thirteen countries and, having sold over 33 million copies worldwide, it remains one of the best-selling albums of all time.

The 13-track record features well-known and somewhat immortal hits 'All I Really Want', 'You Oughta Know', 'Hand in my Pocket' and of course, 'Ironic'. The Canadian-American singer was nominated for nine Grammy Awards in the same year and took home five accolades including Album of the Year.

Fast-forward to 2020 and Jagged Little Pill is 25 years old, whilst Morissette is gearing up to release her ninth album Such Pretty Forks in the Road. Lead single 'Why I Drink' came out in January ahead of the album which is expected on Fri 1 May.
