Stereo MCs - live review (2 stars)

Sat 2 Aug - Live at Loch Lomond

With the sun shining and plenty of jovial moods kicking about, Stereo MC’s took to the main stage with a swagger and to a cheer. The arena wasn’t packed and you got the feeling that those who were, were there for the banter. Sure enough they did their best to promote their new album but it was indie classics ‘Connected’ and ‘Deep Down and Dirty’ that got the crowd jumping around in a baggy 90’s fashion. They weren’t particularly amazing but they weren’t bloody bad.

Have to disagree Leigh. They were brilliant from start to finish. The arena wasn't packed but that was more due to the appalling way in which people were held up by the organisers outside. Yes, the crowd jumped around more to the classics but that's the same for any band at any festival anywhere. Up there with Groove Armada as the best set at Loch Lomond... Loved it!
