ATG Tickets confirm Julie Taymor's award-winning production cannot run in Autumn 2020
Following on from its record-breaking run at Edinburgh Playhouse, the musical adaptation of Disney's The Lion King was set to transfer to Manchester's Palace Theatre in Autumn 2020. Due to Covid-19 and social distancing regulations, the run has now been rescheduled to Spring 2021.
**** UPDATE 24 Aug 2020 'Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19, it is with sadness that Disney and ATG have taken the decision to suspend all performances of THE LION KING until Spring 2021. Existing bookings for performances between 22 October to 6 December 2020 are being rescheduled and customers will be contacted in the week commencing 31 August.
