Will Young and James Morrison confirmed as co-headliners Forest Live 2020, find out how to get tickets

Brit Award-winning singer set to perform in Thetford Forest, Dalby Forest, Sherwood Pines Forest and more

Will Young and James Morrison have been confirmed as co-headliners for the Forest Live 2020 concert series. The series will see the duo perform live across the UK's forests in aid of Forestry England. Tickets for the shows are available at 9am on Fri 22 Nov.

The specially-curated programme, managed by the Forestry England, is renowned for transforming UK forests into atmospheric music venues throughout the summer. The income generated from ticket sales goes towards sustaining the UK's forests. Previous Forest Live line-ups have included: Pulp, Bryan Ferry, Madness, Massive Attack, UB40, Van Morrison and The Human League among others.

In 2020, Forest Live will host both BRIT Award-winning artists who will perform individual sets that include greatest hits and material from their latest albums.

Will Young has spent much of the last two decades at the forefront of pop, having won the inaugural series of Pop Idol which shot him to national fame. A chart-storming career followed, including seven top 5 albums (four reaching the top spot) and four no. 1 singles such as 'Leave Right Now' and 'Jealousy'. In 2019 he returned to the music business with his seventh studio album Lexicon. The record marked his first release since 2015's 85% Proof.

In 2007 Morrison's debut album, Undiscovered was released and charted at no. 1 in the UK. Since then he has put out five studio albums including new record You're Stronger Than You Know which came out this year.

Commenting on the tour, Will Young said: 'Both James and I have fond memories of appearing as part of Forest Live as solo artists in the past. We love the work Forestry England does, so we are glad to be back again in what promises to be a fantastic double-header of a show.'

James Morrison commented: 'For the last 20 years Will has been at the forefront of British popular culture. That's a massive achievement. I think our sets will complement each other in a special way and I'm really looking forward to our shows together. It'll be a great night out!'
