Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed Broadway production hits the city in June 2020
Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed Broadway production of Boublil and Schönberg's musical Les Misérables will tour the UK from 2020, with Glasgow's Theatre Royal being the first confirmed venue for the run. Les Misérables is set to run at the venue from Wed 3– Sat 27 Jun 2020. Tickets for all shows are available at 10am on Wed 30 Oct.
Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, Les Misérables continues to play to packed houses the world over. This brilliant new staging of the classic has taken the world by storm and has been hailed as 'Les Mis for the 21st Century', with scenery inspired by the paintings of Hugo himself. The magnificent score of Les Misérables include the well-known songs 'I Dreamed a Dream', 'On My Own', 'Bring Him Home', 'One Day Mor', 'Master Of The House' and many more.
Les Misérables will take to the road once again in June 2020. The show last toured throughout 2018/19, stopping off at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre. Further dates and casting announcements will be confirmed in 2020.
