Jon Hopkins announces Polarity Tour for 2020, find out how to get tickets

Innovative producer to perform in Edinburgh, Gateshead, Manchester and more

Jon Hopkins has announced he will embark on a huge European tour in 2020. The producer will perform six UK shows as part of his all-new Polarity tour. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Fri 13 Sep.

Hopkins released Singularity in 2018 and toured the globe in support of the record. Hopkins is considered one of the most innovative electronic performers of his generation and the new Polarity tour is set to see him present his music in a fresh way.

His latest performances are set to link together 'the two disparate elements of harsh and fragile in my music', says Hopkins. 'And by going between the two, we'll hopefully create some profound moments of stillness.'

Utilising the grand piano for aspects of the performance, as inspired by his War Child show, Jon Hopkins will be joined by a small ensemble, including Leo Abrahams, violinist Emma Smith and cellist Laura Moody.

Jon Hopkins 2020 live shows:
Wed 4 Mar – Usher Hall, Edinburgh
Thu 5 Mar– Sage, Gateshead
Fri 13 Mar – Bridgewater Hall, Manchester
Sat 14 Mar – The Forum, Bath
Sun15 Mar – Brighton Dome
Wed 18 Mar – Royal Albert Hall, London

Tickets for Jon Hopkins go on sale at 10am on Fri 13 Sep.
