Planet Earth II: Live In Concert to tour the UK in 2020

Prague Philharmonic Orchestra accompany show's footage with the works of Zimmer, Shea and Klebe live

Planet Earth II: Live In Concert premiered in London in spring 2018 and is set to return in 2020 for a UK arena tour. Tickets for the Planet Earth II: Live In Concert are available from 10am on Fri 14 Jun.

Planet Earth II originally aired on BBC One in 2016, achieving BAFTA and Emmy awards thereafter. Following the success of numerous BBC In Concert series (Planet Earth, Blue Planet) the orchestral show returns, bringing to life the series' most captivating moments with original music performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

The orchestra, led by conductor Matthew Freeman, will perform the works of Oscar winner Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea and Jasha Klebe (Bleeding Fingers Music) in sync with footage of awe-inspiring moments projected onto a state of the art 200 square metre 4k ultra HD LED screen.

The 2020 Planet Earth II: Live in Concert arena tour will be hosted by wildlife and natural history TV presenter Liz Bonnin. Liz is best known for presenting wildlife and science programmes including Galapagos, How the Earth Works and hosted the Blue Planet Live concert series in 2018.
