Richard Hawley announces 12-date UK tour for October

Diverse musician supports his ninth record with a headline tour
For Richard Hawley, 2019 is set to be a landmark year. The songwriter is due to release his ninth studio album Further and embark on a 12-date UK tour this October. Tickets for all shows are available at 9am on Fri 17 May.
Hawley was first a member of The Longpigs and then was Pulp's guitarist for some time. In the two decades that have elapsed since Hawley jettisoned band life, the 52-year-old songwriter has forged a diverse solo career with an impressive list of collaborators including the Arctic Monkeys, Manic Street Preachers, Elbow, Paul Weller and many more.
Hawley has released eight solo albums that have been both critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The latest record Further follows on from 2015's Hollow Meadows and is available from Fri 31 May.
