Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds to perform at Edinburgh Playhouse, find out how to get tickets

The band will perform intimate gigs in Edinburgh, Llandudno, London and Hull

It's been announced that Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will perform at Edinburgh Playhouse on Tue 7 May as part of a short UK tour that is set for spring. Tickets for the Edinburgh show and all other dates go on sale at 10am on Mon 18 Feb.

Noel returns to the Scottish capital following his 2018 gig at Edinburgh Castle, where he featured on the bill for the annual summer concert series. The venue is a special setting and is also host Kylie in July. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will also perform in Llandudno, London before a larger gig at the Bonus Arena in Hull.

Noel's third album with the High Flying Birds, Who Built The Moon?, was released in 2017 and topped the UK album charts. It features the singles 'Holy Mountain' and 'It's A Beautiful World'.

Noel's set is likely to draw on tracks from the new album as well as 2015's Chasing Yesterday and the group's debut, a self-titled LP from 2011. Perhaps fans will be treated to a few Oasis classics like 'Wonderwall', 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and 'Go Let It Out'.

Support for the shows comes from English musician Gaz Coombes whose album World's Strongest Man comes out on Fri 4 May.
