English folk rock band to perform at the 2,500 capacity venue this June
The English folk rock band formed in Brighton in 1988 and were once considered the most popular rock bands in Britain. Since the release of their first EP in 1989 they have put out 11 studio albums. Their status has evolved over the decades, but the basic humanity underpinning their music has remained constant. Often political, occasionally angry but always big-hearted, their songs became instant anthems.
The group celebrated a triumphant three decades in the industry last year with a special anniversary tour. Their latest release, We the Collective, came out in 2018 as an ode to their long career creating music together. As well as new music, the album featured acoustic re-recordings of many greatest hits, including 'Liberty', 'Hope Street' and 'One Way'.
Continuing their 30th anniversary celebrations, the Levellers released of a series of limited edition coloured vinyl albums, including the never before released, record-breaking headline set at Glastonbury 1994.
