Summer Nights at Kelvingrove Bandstand announces 2019 programme

Patti Smith, Father John Misty, The Human League, Echo & the Bunnymen and many more make up the bill
It may be the depth of winter just now but summer is slowly on its way and with it comes the news of the latest line-up for Summer Nights at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Bandstand. Regular Music have put together an unmissable programme for the annual concert series, which goes ahead throughout July and August. Tickets for all shows are available from 9am on Fri 25 Jan.
The run of shows kicks off on Fri 26 Aug with Burt Bacharach followed by a night with Caro Emerald. Tue 30 Jul sees Scots Teenage Fanclub take to the stage a day before Suede.
The August instalment of the concert series opens with the iconic Patti Smith on Thu 1 Aug and the line-up continues with Father John Misty followed by The Human League. The National fans will be delighted to hear the group perform two nights back to back. Echo and the Bunnymen will perform on Thu 8 Aug followed by Bloc Party on Fri 9 Aug and last but certainly not least, Hue & Cry close the series with a full band set up.
