Madness announce two open-air shows for 2019, here's how to get your tickets

Suggs and the band take over Newmarket and Sandown racecourses next summer

Madness have revealed their first live dates for 2019. The band will play two open-air shows next summer at as part of The Jockey Club concert series. The first show takes place on Sun 21 Jul at Sandown Racecourse followed by a night at Newmarket Racecourse on Wed 24 Jul. Tickets for Sandown Racecourse go on sale at 8am on Mon 17 Dec. Tickets for Newmarket Racecourse are available from 8am on Tue 18 Dec.

Since forming in 1976, Suggs and the band have released 12 successful studio albums and have the musical Our House dedicated to them. The group's most recent album, Can't Touch Us Now, came out in 2016 and charted at No 3. Attendees of next year's live shows can expect to hear classic hits like 'House of Fun', 'Baggy Trousers', 'It Must Be Love' and 'Wings of a Dove'.

The band played a host of shows at stately homes up and down the country earlier this year and are about to embark on a huge arena tour. Known for their relentless touring capabilities, the latest dates prove that 2019 will be no exception.

Tickets for Madness at Sandown Racecourse go on sale at 8am on Mon 17 Dec. Tickets for the band's Newmarket Racecourse show are available from 8am on Tue 18 Dec.
