The cast of Six the Musical give us the lowdown on their festive traditions
One of our favourite things to emerge from this year has been the runaway hit musical SIX, wherein the badass queens of some Tudor rando finally get the chance to sing their piece. So we've respectfully approached the throne to ask these historical pop monarchs how they celebrate the festive season.
Jarneia Richard-Noel (Catherine of Aragon)
It's not Christmas without The Grinch and Home Alone films! Buying your own advent calendar as your mum thinks you're too old for chocolate! Playing Monopoly with my brothers until it gets way too competitive.
Millie O'Connell (Anne Boleyn)
It's not Christmas without Christmas markets! I love the little arty stalls selling cute bits and bobs. My all-time favourite is strolling along the Champs-Elysées, seeing all the beautiful French homemade gifts and jewellery. It's beautiful!
Natalie Paris (Jane Seymour)
It's not Christmas without my family playing charades and my dad acting out The Godfather – he uses props and everything!
Alexia McIntosh (Anna of Cleves)
It's not Christmas without watching my little boy's face light up when he opens his presents while classic Christmas songs play in the background. Sipping on Baileys and eating traditional Jamaican cake laced with rum. Baking cookies with my son, stuffing my face with all the food, watching Home Alone and falling asleep. Merry Christmas!
Aimie Atkinson (Katherine Howard)
It's not Christmas without me and mum consuming the whole Quality Street tin while watching Cool Runnings.
Maiya Quansah-Breed (Catherine Parr)
It's not Christmas without watching It's A Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve!
Grace Mouat (Swing / Dance Captain)
It's not Christmas without pulling the crackers with all my family and then eating my nan's trifle and M&S desserts!
