Songwriting legends join forces for a unique summertime show
Earlier this week, fans of the legends Bob Dylan and Neil Young were treated to the exciting news that the pair will co-headline British Summer Time festival on Fri 12 Jul. Tickets for the show are on sale now.
Dylan and Young are the first headline acts to be revealed for the annual BST festival series that takes place at London's Hyde Park throughout July. Previous acts for the festival have included Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Blur, The Killers, Taylor Swift, The Who and many more.
Bob Dylan and Neil Young have shared the stage numerous times over the years, beginning in 1976 at a farewell show for Dylan's former backing band. The iconic gig was captured on film by none other than Martin Scorsese. Dylan will be joined on stage by his band and Young by Promise of the Real, with more acts for the day soon to be announced.
Speaking of the show James King, Senior Vice President of concert promoters AEG Presents, said: 'Being able to bring together two of the biggest cultural icons together for this historic day of music counts as possibly the biggest event we have ever delivered in Hyde Park.'
