The Proclaimers announced for Edinburgh Castle Concert, here's how to get tickets

Iconic Scottish duo will also play in gigs Melrose, Inverness, Edinburgh and Glasgow

The Proclaimers have announced a small string of Scottish live dates for 2019. The duo are the second musical act to be announced for Edinburgh's Castle Concert series (joining Kylie) and will perform at the venue next July following shows in Melrose and Inverness. The duo have also announced a show at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow taking place on Sat 14 Sep. Tickets for all dates are available from 9am on Fri 23 Nov.

The Reid brothers are known for huge hits 'Sunshine on Leith', I'm Gonna Be (500 miles)', 'I'm On My Way" and 'Letter from America'. The pair's 11th studio album Angry Cyclists came out in August of this year.

The duo will wrap up their huge 2018 UK tour this December before heading out around Scotland next summer with a stop off at Edinburgh Castle on Sat 20 Jul. The duo will be supported by special guests yet to be announced.

Tickets for The Proclaimers 2019 live dates go on sale at 9am on Fri 23 Nov.
