Jamie Lawson has announced he will take to the road for a eight-date tour of the UK in May 2019. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Fri 16 Nov.
The English singer-songwriter, who hails from Plymouth, gained mainstream success after his single 'Wasn't Expecting That' charted at No. 6 in the UK. The track bagged Lawson the Ivor Novello award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically in 2015. After becoming the first artist to be signed to Ed Sheeran's record label, Gingerbread Man Records, he went on the release his self-titled debut which peaked at No. 1.
Lawson released his fourth album Happy Accidents in Sep 2017, which features hit 'Can't See Straight'. The 2019 tour kicks off on Thu 2 May at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London followed by shows in Norwich, Birmingham, Manchester, Gateshead, Bristol and Glasgow. The tour comes to a close on Sat 11 May at Ulster Hall in Belfast.
