Westlife announce reunion shows, here's how to get tickets

Irish pop sensations are heading back on tour to celebrate 20 years of hits and share new music

It's been a long time but coming but today, finally, Westlife have revealed dates of their 2019 reunion tour. The group will head out across the UK & Ireland for The Twenty Tour to celebrate 20 years of making music together next May and June.

**UPDATE due to huge demand Westlife have added extra dates to the tour ** Tickets for the added shows are on sale now.

Despite members Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan announcing the group would part ways to pursue solo projects in 2012 the boys are back with brand new music and a tour to follow. The group confirmed the rumours to be true earlier this month when they published a short video featuring the slogan 'New Music. New Tour' on their social media channels.

Since forming in 1998 the group have released ten hit albums and scored fourteen No.1 singles, including 'Swear It Again', 'If I Let You Go', 'Flying Without Wings', 'Against All Odds' among others. They are considered one of the greatest pop groups of the 00s and are listed amongst the highest-selling groups in British music history.

Following an eight-year sabbatical the group are releasing new music that will be supported by next year's tour. Westlife's previous album Gravity came out in 2010 and reached No.3 in UK Album Charts. It has been reported that a number of the new tracks have been penned by pop sensation Ed Sheeran whom the group have been working with for sometime.

The group will kick things off on Sat 25 May at The SSE Arena in Belfast before calling at Manchester, Glasgow, Sheffield and Leeds before a night at The O2 in London on Thu 13 Jun. The band will follow the show with further dates at Nottingham and Birmingham with a final show at Echo Arena in Liverpool on Tue 25 Jun.
