Enjoy live entertainment from DJs and performers, neon workshops and more

This October, Edinburgh Castle hosts a party unlike any other. On Fri 5 Oct the famous monument transforms into the hottest (k)night club in town. Knight at the Castle 2018 is an 18-and-older after-hours celebration of young Scottish creative talent for Year of Young People 2018.

Throughout five unique zones attendees can enjoy a host of talent, and partake in a diverse mix of entertaining activities, from neon crown making workshops, to crossbow challenges, or try their luck at an on-site escape room challenge. Alongside the activities and live entertainment from DJs and performers, visitors can take the opportunity to view the many treasures that are housed in the castle throughout the night.

Musical highlights from the event come from Glasgow-based indie quartet West Princes who will open the night on The List stage. Headlining the neon extravaganza is Dundee pop artist Be Charlotte who brings the festivities to a close with her fierce beats and good vibes. The List live performance competition winner will be selected on the night, with the winner to be judged and selected by a youth advisory group.

Edinburgh Castle, Fri 5 Oct, 7-10pm, £15 (12). Tickets are on sale now.
