Belinda was evicted from the 'Big Brother' house last night. The flamboyant thespian - who joined the house two weeks ago along with Sara and Maysoon - was battling against boastful chef Rex, but polled 65 per cent of vote and so became the fifth housemate to be booted out by the public.
When the result was announced, Belinda said to the other contestants: "It's OK. It's good, positive. It's been great, you are great people to know."
She exited the house to a mixed crowd, but told Davina she had enjoyed the experience.
Asked how she was feeling, she replied: "Good, what an incredible rollercoaster of a ride, everyone should be in there. It is extraordinary."
She claimed she was not bitter about being evicted so soon, saying it was "the nature of the beast" and only to be expected as she joined the show late.
When Belinda discovered her incessant questions had irritated some of the other housemates, she said: "I'm terribly nosey. If we get together I'll have all your stories over a cup of tea and some nice champagne. Tell me all. I'm a nosey parker, I'm very inquisitive."
Discussing the cycling challenge - which saw Belinda, Lisa, Stuart, Sara, Rebecca and Mikey peddle 1040km in 30 hours for the shopping challenge - she said: "I pushed myself physically where I have never been before."
When asked who she wanted to win, Belinda replied: "Dale. He is incredible, he is honourable, great integrity, not playing a game, nice-looking man, intelligent man."
Finally, the theatre director treated the audience to a song after declaring: "All the time I sing."
