The group will headline the final day with support from Echo & The Bunnymen and more
Wheels and Fins Festival is about to go ahead for its sixth year and as usual boasts an eclectic mix of music and sport to be enjoyed just 90 minutes outside of London. This year the final day of music donned 'Sharabang' has been carefully curated by indie rock band The Libertines. The highly anticipated musical lineup for the Sunday has been revealed and weekend and day tickets for the festival are on sale now.
Unlike most UK festivals Wheels and Fins takes place far away from endless swampy fields and instead offers festival goers a tranquil view of the ocean. Taking place at Joss Bay in Broadstairs, Kent music and sport lovers can enjoy doing what they love on one of the finest sandy beaches in the South. This unique location provides the perfect playground for attendees as in and amongst the music lineup available activities include: skateboarding, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, beach parties and much more.
The Libertines will headline the Sunday night and have hand-selected the remainder of the day's lineup. The group will be joined by Echo & The Bunnymen, Reverend & The Makers, Cabbage and Chas & Dave. This will be the first music festival The Libertines have curated and is neatly situational just a stone's throw away from the band's new hotel and studio, The Albion Rooms.
Other headliners of the weekend include Faithless (DJ set) and Feeder. Highlights from the lineup include: Subfocus, Example & DJ wire, High Contrast and many more.
Wheels and Fins Festival 2018 runs from Fri 7 - Sun 9 Sep at Joss Bay in Kent and tickets are on sale now.
