Philadephia band to play at London's O2 Arena on Thu 13 Dec with support from shoegaze favourites Slowdive
The War On Drugs are set to play a massive show at London's O2 Arena on Thu 13 Dec. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10am on Fri 22 Jun.
The Philadelphia-based band will return to the UK later this year, after a stunning slot at the All Points East festival last month, opening for The National. Performing at the O2 on Thu 13 Dec, the gig will be their only UK headline show of 2018.
Led by songwriter Adam Granduciel, the band have released four albums to date. Their most recent, 2017's A Deeper Understanding, cracked the top 10 of the UK album charts, propelled by tracks like 'Thinking of a Place', 'Holding On', 'Strangest Thing' and 'Pain'.
For the gig, they'll be joined by shoegaze favourites Slowdive, who reunited in 2014. Their self-titled 2014 album was their first in 22 years.
The War on Drugs and Slowdive play London's O2 Arena on Thu 13 Dec. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Fri 22 Jun.
