Extra shows for the world famous musical in Birmingham, Milton Keynes and Newcastle
Killian Donnelly has been confirmed to play Jean Valjean in the upcoming UK tour of Les Misérables. In addition, more dates have been announced for the tour in Birmingham, Milton Keynes and Newcastle.
The classic Boublil and Schönberg musical, based on the Victor Hugo novel, continues to play to packed houses the world over, well into the 21st century. It's no wonder, featuring the songs 'I Dreamed a Dream', 'On My Own', 'Stars', 'Bring Him Home', 'Do You Hear the People Sing?', 'One Day More', 'Empty Chairs at Empty Tables', 'Master Of The House' it's full of memorable musical anthems.
The leading role of Jean Valjean is in safe hands with Killian Donnelly, who is currently performing the character on London's West End. Before that, he was in Kinky Boots as 'Charlie Price', a role for which he was nominated for an Olivier Award. His other credits include Donegal, in which he played Jackie Day, and Memphis, for which he was also nominated for an Olivier Award for his portrayal of 'Huey'.
