Inspiring musical is booking until February 2019 on the West End
The Lion King is now booking at London's Lyceum Theatre from Thu 24 Apr 2018 to Thu 7 Feb 2019. Tickets to see the inspiring, rousing show are on sale now.
Based on the incredible animated film of the same name, first released in 1994, the show is a coming of age story that follows the journey of a young Lion called Simba, who just can't wait to be king.
With a set that recreates the majestic Serengeti Plains, and songs like 'The Circle of Life', 'Endless Night' and 'Shadow Land' – developed by the likes of Elton John, Tim Rice and Lebo M – it's long been a favourite on the West End.
The current production is directed by the visionary Julie Taymor, bringing to life iconic characters like Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa, and the villain of the piece Scar.
A carnival of colour and song, it continues to enchant audiences year on year.
