Stornoway's An Lanntair is a multi purpose auditorium with up to nine showings a week. Films are usually shown on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Skye's only permanent cinema also features gift shops, bars and café with panoramic views. It doubles up as Aros' theatre and is reminiscent of Shakespeare's Globe.
The Belmont

Aberdeen's Belmont, formerly the Trades Hall, was first converted to a cinema in 1910. After a number of refurbishments and name changes, it opened in its present guise in 2000 and features three screens and a licensed bar.
