Leith Links
The wide grassland at Leith Links was originally designed as a golf course, and to this day is popular with many sporting clubs and associations, as well as with local joggers and dog-walkers. The Links are also an important part of the Festival calendar, with Edinburgh Mela and the Leith Festival holding events here.

Edinburgh Mela
World music, dance, fashion, food and fun spread over four areas: the Main Music Stage, the Mela World Dance Feste (newly established in 2012), the Mela Mix stage and the Kids Mela. The Mela Global Food Village is on hand to replenish your energy after taking in all the sights and sounds.

The Edinburgh Moonwalk
A sponsored nocturnal power walk to raise funds to combat breast cancer. As an added bonus, all participants are invited to walk in their bras (and that includes the men).
