Tell us more about this venue.
Set up by Patrick Bourne in 1978, Bourne Fine Art specialises in works of painting and sculpture from the 17th century to the present day. Sitting in the heart of Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town, the gallery typically displays everything from early Scottish portrait painting to Ramsay and Raeburn, through to Wilkie and McTaggart and the Scottish Colourists. Contemporary painters and sculptors such as John McLean, Haidee Becker, Paul Martin and John Byrne are also included. In addition to dealing in art, the gallery runs a comprehensive frame restoration service and publishes monographs on Scottish artists through its imprint, Atelier Books.
