The Hive
The Hive is a popular late night haunt known for its generous promotions and varied music policy. Any given night you can be treated to pop and chart, indie and electro, rock and metal or drum and bass - so check listings in advance. Holding up to 650 people there is often a combo of live music and club nights in these underground vaults. Located on Niddry Street, it's just a few minutes walk from both Princes Street and the Cowgate.

This club is awful and filled to the brim with the rudest clubbers in Edinburgh. No security inside to keep an eye on things. It's a shame because the music was great.

The Hive is FANTASTIC. Definately the best place to go if you appreciate good music. It's a good balance of tunes without being cheeeeeesy. Defo recommend it! Saturday nights are the most fun.
