The George Abbotsford Hotel

Privately owned and operated the hotel is situated right in the heart of the beautiful central Borders town of Melrose. It is a large Victorian-style building extended from the original 17th century coaching inn and offers a warm and friendly atmosphere to all of it's customers. There are 29 rooms making it the largest hotel in the town centre as well as a bar and dinning area known as Scott's. The bar offers up to 4 real ales from local craft brewers and Scottish regional breweries and the dinning area uses fresh local and regional produce for the menus which are served all day from mid-day.
