The Hideaway

Welcome to The Hideaway Experience located on our family farm at the foot of the Sidlaw Hills, just north of Dundee, in Angus, Scotland.We have three Hideaways. The Old Romantics' Hideaway is a traditional cottage converted in 2005 and has a 4 star grading from Visit Scotland. The Lover's Hideaway and The Honeymooners' Hideaway opened in December 2010 and are new build bespoke luxury hotel suite type apartments which have just achieved a 5 star grading from Visit Scotland.All three Hideaways are designed exclusively for couples wishing to get away from it all and spend time in peaceful and private surroundings. All are separate from each other and offer complete privacy. The brief for our architect was to allow guests to be naked in the hot tub with no one being able to see them!The Hideaways are ideal for relaxing holidays as well as for honeymoons and other special occasions.Why not have a picnic lunch and take in breathtaking views of Angus, Fife and Perthshire from the top of Balluderon Hill behind The Hideaway? Back in the comfort of your accommodation stretch out and relax in the sauna then cool off with a quick blast of the outdoor shower, then sink into the large double bath before enjoy some champagne in the outdoor hot tub on the deck. For those wishing to relax they need never leave The Hideaway, sit back and enjoy the double sided wood burning stove in the bedroom and lounge before retiring to your four poster super king size bed with stunning views of the local countryside.The Hideaway Experience is your perfect retreat for any time of the year.We look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful part of Scotland and to your luxury accommodation.
