Cottiers, formerly Dowanhill Church, is an ‘A’ Listed building at the edge of the old village of Partick in the West End of Glasgow. The building is slowly being restored, but it is even now an atmospheric theatre venue and an impressive Gothic building. Cottiers also houses a popular West End bar and a really nice restaurant (of the same name) upstairs.

Cottiers Theatre is a unique theatrical venue capable of housing all sorts of productions and forms of performance. Events can take place against the backdrop of the stained glass and ornate timberwork or within a black interior suited to certain types of drama. The theatre comfortably seats 280 persons with a generous stage and large impressive acoustic.
