First and foremost, we were unable to use the bath, or the shower, and I was due to attend an interview on the Friday morning. The primary reason for staying over on Thursday was to give me a stress free and easy journey to the interview the next morning - but because of your appalling accommodation nothing could have been further from the truth.

The whirlpool jets were ejecting black debris into the water, there was no hot water to run a bath, and there was no power getting to the shower. Having tried to switch the shower on and achived an unimpressive dribble, we then couldn't switch it off. So we enlisted the help of the chap on reception, who also couldn't switch it off and had to go and ask one of the other residents how to do it. It was switched off, eventually.

There were no instructions on how to use any of the appliances. We couldn't get the dishwasher working, and neither could the aforementioned receptionist. And there was no washing up liquid. How were we meant to clean the dishes and pans? Find the nearest Wilkinsons? And speaking of pans, there was no frying pan, so bringing bacon with us was a waste of time and money.
We had the same problem with the oven - couldn't get it to work and again, no instructions.
On top of all this..

The door stopper was broken, just kicking around on the floor.
The window was absolutely filthy on the outside, covered in grime.
There was no bottle opener.
There was no corkscrew.
Cutlery was just kicking round loose in a drawer - not a problem but not consistent with the four star rating on your website.

I'm no expert when it comes to using accommodation in other towns, but I've stayed in enough guest-houses and self-catering units to know that we have paid far in excess of the facilities and service we received.

Ontop of this, when we came to reception wanting to complain to a manager we were told there are no managers on site and they have no telephone number?!!!?? How do staff contact managers??? hmm... We were told to contact via email, which we did. After a week of sending the email a reply came through from David Glover (so called Operations Manager) asking to phone him back. We tried and tried and tried almost 6 times to get through to David, finally getting through only to be told and fobbed off with him saying he would call back later that day. We have never received any contact from David since.

AVOID Piccadilly Central Serviced Apartments. Not worth a penny paid, nobody should have to experience the same trip and we did.
