Hidden away is this gem of a restaurant, a little Thailand under the bridge by the canals of Birmingham. When you enter the Kinnaree Thai, you enter a world of calm. Tranquil surroundings and attentive staff could lead you to believe that you have been transported to an island far away from Birmingham City Centre. With a long glass frontage that makes the most of its canalside setting, Kinnaree Thai is a tranquil restaurant situated behind the Mail Box in central Birmingham. Elegantly adorned with Thai artefacts, including a traditional longboat as a centre-piece, this spacious dining room offers over 100 traditional Thai dishes in home-cooked style, with a selection of five set menus as well. When visiting this fabulous restaurant allow time to relax and enjoy the Thai experience. The food is superb and reasonably priced; whether you make your own selection or ask the staff for their recommendations you will not be disappointed. We have been highly commended in the Taste of England Excellence in Tourism Awards 2007.
