Popular with the affluent residents of Hampstead and Belsize Park, this branch of Brasserie Gérard on Haverstock Hill is a fine example of all-day dining in the French tradition. Brasserie staples from steak-frites to salade Niçoise pepper the menu, with regional Gallic dishes, gourmet burgers, pasta and tagine dishes filling in the gaps. The restaurant is relaxed and congenial, with a laid-back family atmosphere that grows more sophisticated with the evening crowd.
