With a buzzing cosmopolitan atmosphere and beautifully minimalist décor, Avenue restaurant is located in St James, just a short walk from Green Park and close to the Royal Academy of Arts.
The interior has high ceilings and a skylight that stretches along the entire side of the dining room to create a bright, airy dining space.
Avenue's Head Chef Mikko Kataja, formerly of Launceston Place, offers a modern British menu that showcases seasonal produce, with innovative interpretations of classic dishes. Favourites include whole free range Devon chicken for 2, rump of Herdwick lamb with chargrilled spring onion and pearl barley or grilled sea bass fillet with onion and capers. The excellent fish and chips are popular with diners.
