I've been going here about once or twice a month since it opened. The food and drink selection are great, as are the prices.
I generally go during the day for a bit of lunch. They do amazing burgers served with hand cut chips that are so good I catch myself craving them specifically on occasion. The menu changes fairly regularly and everything I've had is tasty. Black pudding salad, yum. Nachos, sweet and spicy, yum yum.
I would frequent here a lot more often, but the staff are rubbish. They don't seem to want to do any work at all. They aren't rude, but they are certainly not polite or friendly. I would have rated the Merchant’s House (currenty known as the Bar With No Name) an easy 5 out of 5, but the staff really put me off walking in the door.
