Black Box is an independent design boutique based in the heart of the buzzing Grassmarket, Edinburgh, showcasing Britain’s most exceptionally curious jewellery, textiles, ceramics, illustration and more!
The boutique is also home to an in-house jewellery studio and workshop, where you can see Black Box's jewellers working on the latest collections. We aim to illustrate the significance of the design process from start to finish, and how it is key to our designers’ work. Hannah and Sarah are both independent jewellery designers trained in Scotland. Hannah’s antique-inspired box lockets have received nationwide acclaim and a number of industry awards since launching in 2009, and both she and Sarah stock and exhibit their work across the UK.
