Went to see Johnny and the Giros, Jack Butler at the monthly Dead Hand Friday event recently.

Situated on the first floor above the pub, it's not the slickest of places but once the bands start up you're immediately oblivious to the surroundings.

It's difficult to find decent venues in the middle of the Central Belt which is a bit of a mystery when there are so many good bands originating from there (Johnny and the Giros, Jack Butler, Ray Summers et al) and the fan base is huge.

Edinburgh / Glasgow beware!!!

NB Only marked as 4/5 as no disabled access to upstairs as far as I'm aware.
